First I would like to make a few responses to other posts from the weekend:my
Jill's description of my randomness only encompasses about 12-1 in the afternoon on Saturday (actually I have no idea what time it was, because time doesnt realy have any meaning at UD, there will be more on this later). Also this was only after I tried to break into WaFu (which wasnt open until 4).
Sas, you look good, damn good. I would have called you, but I forgot that I left my phone in my car to charge (because Clarke wouldnt let me use his charger). This forgetfullness led to many moments of panick in which i thought I lost my phone.
My list will not have pictures because the only one I took of the weekend was of my 16 inch sub from subhouse.
Now on to the list (which does not include stuff like 301, 202, and roof ball becuase they have already been covered).
10) Calling Costello when I got into town to meet up, thus leading straight to Millanos.
Now this may not seem like much of anything, but i feel that the irony is pretty obvious that the first place i go to on my triumphant return is a bar that I never ever went to in college.
9) The golf cart service.
One of the great features of reunion weekend is that they have student driving around in golf carts taking you places. This was obviously taken advantage of by us. I think I took the golf cart in a one block radius at least 5 times. Which also lead me to taking a Marriot shuttle from the Deli to 202.
8) Clarke thinking every dude there was a douche.
there was no real reason for this but, there was always a negative comment from Clarke about every guy that we came across that he may or may not have known.
7)Speaking of douches: greg Popum's hair.
Lets just say that if you were to take your hand and slam it against the top of his head, his spikes would pierce all the way though the bone.
6) Staying up for 41 straight hours.
I was aake from 6:15 AM on Friday to somewhere around 1 or two AM Sunday. this is great for two reasons: 1) it takes your buzz to a whole different level and 2) instead of it feeling like a 2 day adventure, if feels more like 4 days.
5) Hanging out with basically the same 7-10 people the whole weekend.
There had to be like 1000 people on campus and we just hung out together the whole time. Now this is not to say there werent some random conversations with some older ladies (I did escort an older lady to a party down Lowes street), having akward conversations with people I knew in college but havent talked to in 5 years, or some of jill's friends at 202, but basically it was the same group the whole time. but I wouldnt have ha it any other way.
4) One word:Tim's.
I hate that place and have definately have been there more times since I graduated than when I was there, but there is a certain charm to people saying "hey lets go to Tims." Also, it takes two days to wash off the marker from your hand.
3)Joe Carrol's Story.
Apparently Joe woke up on saturday in his boxers in the lobby of whereever he was staying, leading some guy to walk past him and yell "Alright". Then he ran into some room and was asking people for some help for a half an hour. And this is all because of.......
2)The Hills
So somehow at like 4 in the morning on saturday me, Joe, and some dude I thought was Joe's friend (but wasnt, he had no idea who he was either) ended up at the Pike house hanging out, drinking beer and eating cake. So then we decide to go to the Hills. not that it was all that special because we were the only 3 there and the bloody mary i had was the spiciest thing that I have ever drank, but it was the Hills until 8 in the morning and it made me feel good. Two other great things 1)you cant beat conversations at the hills and 2) the best is walking out of a dark bar into the morning mist after a 12 hour bender. So we eventually go our seperate ways and I go back to my car, sit on the porch I parked in front of when a a guy comes out of the door and we procede to drink for the next hour or so.
1)The foreign and homey feeling that UD provides.
It is hard to explain if you havent been back in awhile, but they are really putting a lot of money into making that school nice. From the book store, to the shops on brown, to the new dorm, to the new rec center, the place is different. But then again it is exactly the same as it was 5 years ago (espcially 412 Lowes which might be in worse shape now then it was when we destroyed it).
i guess that is what I liked the most, ud is truely the greatest place on earth, and thats no lie.
That took way too long

nice work, Walker. Yes, I remember you going to Wah-Fu, coming back 20 minutes later and telling us that you "yelled at the lady to come out, but she wouldn't." I also forgot the part where you got out of line to order to walk all the way to our table to tell Clarke, "this is your jam."
