Prime Minister's Questions

I know how much we all enjoyed watching the Prime Ministers Questions every now and then back in school...

As a proud Englishman, it brings me great pleasure to share this video:

Some of the highlights:

0:22 mark: the reaction of the Conservatives is priceless. I really wish the Senate operated this way.

1:52 mark: David Cameron's hilarious response complete with the full support of the guy sitting right behind him.

2:00 mark: the guy on the right who i'm pretty sure is either asleep (quite common in the House of Commons) or about 2 seconds away from groping the lady to his right.

4:20 mark: both sides get into the debate.

Quite the spectacle. I really like the Speaker who rules over this whole affair. The Labor Party used to be pretty hilarious, but I think Cameron & the Conservatives may be a lot of fun to drink with now. Plus Cameron is a big Radiohead fan.

I can't think of anything I love more than Prime Minister's Questions.

It constantly looks like the funniest Monty Python skit of all time...but it's their government! And the sad thing is...I think it's a much more productive way to go about things, at least compared to the U.S.

Clarke, your people are onto something!

US politics is so boring in comparison. Could you imagine Bush squaring off against the democrats on live TV? Talk about awesomeness. He screws up speeches that have been pre-written for him... imagine how bad it would be if he had to think on his feet like these guys do.
