I was trying to think of a witty way to post this, but I'm too pissed to come up with anything, so I'll get right to it.
I won't be there this weekend. I know, I'm a douche rocket.
We had a basketball game cancelled due to wind chill (yes, freaking wind chill) a few weeks ago. They just told me YESTERDAY that it was rescheduled for Saturday (without my consent). I tried to call and change my flight so I could still come Sunday, but it's way too expensive now. I actually would've come just to be there for about 12 hours, but I can't afford it.
I aplogize to everyone for backing out at the last second; Like I said, I basically feel like a total ass. I told Cos, if you guys want my share of $$$ for the hotel, I'll mail it to you.
The only positive side of this shit-sack is that I have a voucher for a plane ticket and no plans to fly anywhere. I'd love to visit anyone for spring break or during the summer, so if you're looking for a house guest, let me know.
Enjoy the gambling, boozing, strippers, and Superbowl for me. I'll be busy playing with my new snowblower and watching game film of us getting our ass kicked on the court.
