Bicycles Galore!

So I'm not here to judge which of these bike trips is more inspirational and worthwhile. Or which is based on immature stupidity. I think they speak for themselves.

On the one hand, you have EP. He's more or less single-handedly created an organization and network of sponsors to help him ride his bike from northern Alaska to southern Florida. He and Azure quit their jobs and how reside (yes, as in residence) in the journey's van. And he's doing it all to raise awareness for mental health. If you haven't started following his blog yet, you need to do that. If you haven't donated to his trek, you need to do that NOW.

On the other hand, I will once again be accompanying Behler and Basford (and their moustaches) as they ride their bikes from Cincinnati to Chicago, stopping at Indiana breweries each night. I say "accompanying" because I won't be riding a bike. That's crazy. I'll be driving a car. Packing their lunches. Bartering with motel clerks. Stuff like that. Our trip will conclude when we arrive at the Reds v. Cubs game at Wrigley on the afternoon of July 2nd. You can follow our travels here.

Again, I'm not going to say which trip is more worthwhile. Apples and oranges.
